The iPhone 17 Series
Apple unveiled its all-new phones, the iPhone 17 series. That's three upgrades to familiar models and also the brand-new iPhone 17 Air, that is replacing the iPhone Plus. If lining up in a queue on release day isn't your style, but you still need to grab one right away, you will be able to pre-order the iPhone 17, 17 Pro Max, 17 Pro or iPhone Air from 10pm AEST on September 12th, ahead of the September 19 release date.
Aplpe’s iPhone 17 features a new design with a slightly larger 6.3-inch display and thinner borders. And after a long wait (and a ton of grumbling), the base iPhone finally has a a 120Hz refresh rate.
Under the hood, Apple’s new A19 chip is faster as well as more efficient, particularly when combined with Apple Intelligence. If you're upgrading from an older iPhone, you will see a huge bump in speed and improved gameplay thanks to ProMotion.
On the camera front, you'll find a 48MP Fusion main camera (shooting 24MP photos by default) as well as a 2x telephoto lens. The ultra-wide camera also gets an upgrade to 48MP, making macro photography crisper and much more impressive.

The iPhone 17 will come in black, white, steel gray, light blue, green, and purple.The iPhone 17 Air is set to come in colour options such as black, white, light gold and sky blue.
The Pro and Pro Max models will be offered in three premium finishes: blue, orange and silver.
